The Role
Fixed Income Technology is looking for a full stack developer to join the Fixed Income Investment Tools Development Team. As a member of our team, you will be working with our investment team and interact directly with portfolio managers, quant analysts, traders, and investment operations teams to build new and innovative tools that will support and improve our investment process. These tools are critically important to the work of the investment team in handling risk, adding return, and operating our business. You will be embedded with the investment team as a key technology partner supporting the investment process.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree and over four years of professional experience
  • Experience developing applications using Angular as primary frontend framework for UI
  • Experience working in Python, SQL and Microsoft Suite of tools including Excel VBA and Power Platform is a plus
  • Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud environment and proven understanding of CI/CD & DevOps
  • Experience decomposing sophisticated business problems into creative, efficient, and scalable solutions
  • Excellent active listening, verbal and written communication skills and brings excitement that builds collaboration and community
  • Ability to respond to a variety of requests and being able to prioritize them effectively
  • Negotiate a balance between 'absolute best' and 'efficient and practical' to good effect'
  • Ability to learn new technology, business workflows, concepts, processes and contribute to the investment process
