The Population Health Data Analyst collects, cleans, and analyzes large healthcare datasets (EHR, claims,, social determinants) to identify trends, measure clinical outcomes, and support value-based care strategies. They create dashboards, reports, and predictive models to improve community health, manage risks, and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze large, complex datasets using SQL, SAS, or R to identify health trends, disparities, and utilization patterns.
* Visualization & Insights: Develop dashboards and interactive reports (using Tableau, Power BI, or Epic SlicerDicer) to communicate findings to clinical leaders and stakeholders.
* Quality Improvement: Evaluate program performance, care coordination, and clinical outcomes, providing recommendations for care optimization
* Value-Based Care Support: Analyze claims data to monitor risk-adjusted costs and efficiency in value-based contracts
* Data Governance: Ensure data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations (HIPAA, IRB).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical software (SAS, R, or Python)
* Data Handling: Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic) and claims data
* Analytical Skills: Ability to perform complex data manipulation, statistical analysis, and interpretation
* Knowledge Base: Understanding of population health management, healthcare metrics, and epidemiology
Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Public Health, Statistics, or a related field.
Salary - $65,000 - $75,000
Shift - Monday - Friday : 9am-5pm
