Job description

Overview
Responsible for retrieving purchase orders from multiple databases, reviewing purchase and change orders by analyzing pertinent terms and conditions, price, and delivery information, loads demand into MRP system based on PO data, assists program managers as required, and communicates with internal organizations on pertinent information regarding engineering changes and expedited requirements. This position will also work closely with customers and all departments within product manufacturing to ensure that the customers' requirements are met, and any problems or issues are communicated quickly and accurately by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for ensuring PO/CO's are entered within 24 hours and notifying Program Manager, Director of Programs, or estimating staff as necessary when unable to do so.
  • Communicates and works with customers and Program Managers in regards to issues on the PO/CO and ensures a timely resolution is achieved.
  • Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with all buyers and customers
  • Documents all transactions, issues or concerns, and important information appropriately and accurately.
  • Completes bi-weekly system bounces to ensure demand is accurate.
  • Monitors and completes any Engineering Change Order (ECO) requirements as required.*
  • Utilizes Microsoft Dynamics AX.*
  • Accomplishes daily tasks with discipline and a sense of urgency.*
  • Attends required meetings with appropriate and accurate data.*
  • Works hours required to successfully accomplish all job related issues.*
  • Minimizes days or hours missed during standard business working days.*
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate well with other people.*
  • Maintains positive working relationships with all buyers and customer representatives, deals with all buyers with accurate and immediate responses, documents all transactions via e-mail unless not possible, and documents all others in available systems.*
  • Accomplishes daily tasks accurately and immediately, which includes phone calls and emails.*
  • Understands and performs within the company policy manual.*
  • Ensure all PO's are uploaded into Docuware.
