Applied Control Engineering, Inc. (ACE) provides automation solutions to a diverse set of industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial gases, discrete manufactured products, and more. Engineers at ACE have become industry leading technical experts, project managers, sales engineers, or engineering managers.
ACE is seeking entry level, passionate engineers to join our team.
JOB OVERVIEW
As a new engineer at ACE, you will join a project team that is delivering a customer project. As a part of that team, your duties will include:
  • Participating in the design, development, and documentation of systems which meet our customers' requirements.
  • Communicating with customers, both at the office and on-site, to present your work and come up with unique solutions.
  • Traveling to customer sites to implement and test project deliverables.
  • Meeting with Project Managers and Lead Engineers to assess your project's statuses and determine the most effective approach for successful completion.

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of programming concepts
  • Thorough knowledge of business application software (MS Office package)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Displays a positive and professional demeanor
  • Demonstrates a flexible and cooperative working style
  • Willing to work off-hours when required
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Willing to submit to drug testing and/or background checks as mandated for a) employment, and b) customer contract requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • General understanding of process control or other manufacturing processes.
  • Prior experience with or exposure to PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS and MES technologies.
