PAY RATE: $120K – 200K/year

Summary: 

  • Leads end-to-end product development programs from concept maturity through production release.

  • Establishes engineering plans, schedules, technical milestones, and development budgets for product development programs.

  • Manages system architecture and design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, and production readiness reviews.

  • Oversees product verification, validation, qualification, and certification activities.

  • Ensures robust engineering processes are followed throughout development lifecycle.

  • Drives root cause analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.

  • Ensures Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Testability (DFT) principles are incorporated.

  • Manages engineering budgets and staffing plans for product development programs.

  • Allocates technical resources across programs and monitors program performance against cost, schedule, and technical objectives.

  • Supports transition from development to production with cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related field) from an accredited institution.

  • Proven experience leading full product development programs from concept to production release.

  • Experience establishing engineering plans, schedules, technical milestones, and development budgets.

  • Experience managing system architecture and design reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.

  • Experience overseeing product verification, validation, qualification, and certification activities.

  • Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Testability (DFT).

  • Experience driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.

  • Experience managing engineering budgets, staffing plans, and allocating technical resources.

  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality management systems for product development.
