TekSynap is seeking a Web Server Specialist 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • 2-4 Years experience
  • Networking Knowledge, Internet Information Service (IIS), User Access Security, Encryption and Certificate Management, SOA, Microsoft Azure/ AWS - PAAS, IAAS, SAAS
  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Clearance

  • U.S. Citizenship required; background check required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Web Server Architect will perform activities related to the installation, configuration, management, maintenance and technical support of Web servers, application servers, and other supported platforms. County standard is for Windows platform and ASP.NET; This work requires knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, XML, .NET 5+, ASP.NET, C#, and Visual Studio .NET. Experience with cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible, is essential. Knowledge of API development and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) is also highly desirable.

Target salary range: $80,000 - $120,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees
