Position Summary

Hybrid Workday Solutions Engineer located in Fort Wayne, IN or Indianapolis, IN. Requires in‑office presence two days per week. No relocation assistance offered. Must qualify for U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Architecture & Development
  • Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, SOAP/REST APIs, and Workday Extend.
  • Architect event‑driven, batch, and real‑time integration patterns between Workday and DMA’s .NET/PostgreSQL/Azure stack.
  • Develop and own integration documentation (data flow diagrams, API contracts, ADRs).
  • Evaluate and recommend middleware/iPaaS tools such as Azure Integration Services or MuleSoft.
Platform & Systems Collaboration
  • Partner with Architecture & Innovation to align Workday integrations with platform strategy and AI roadmap.
  • Collaborate with Software Development and PMO to deliver integrations within SDLC and governance frameworks.
  • Serve as the internal subject‑matter expert on Workday’s API, data model, security model, and release cycle.
Process Automation & Innovation
  • Identify and automate manual cross‑system data flows, reducing toil and error.
  • Contribute to AI and automation initiatives, including agentic workflow design.
  • Monitor Workday release notes, assess platform capabilities, and recommend adoption when ROI is clear.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of solutions or integration engineering experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with Workday integrations (Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, or REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Solid understanding of REST API design, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, and web services fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ownership of end‑to‑end integration problems.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
  • Preferred experience integrating Workday with .NET or Azure systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with iPaaS or middleware platforms (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Preferred exposure to containerized deployment (Docker, Azure Container Apps).
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git/GitLab).
  • Preferred experience with observability tooling (logging, monitoring, alerting).
  • Workday Pro certification in Integration, Studio, or related track preferred.
