Job description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location: Manchester, NH
Contract: PRN

Rate: Up to $52.00 per hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our overnight nursing team at a long-term care facility in Manchester, NH. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional resident-centered care while utilizing strong clinical judgment to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. This role works collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team to promote the health, comfort, and safety of residents.

Qualifications

  • Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Current AHA BLS/CPR certification.
  • Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate with providers as needed.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident responses in the electronic medical record.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to resident needs and emergencies.
  • Supervise and support LPNs and LNAs/CNAs while providing clinical guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents, families, and coworkers.
