Job description

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their growth and learning in a contract paraprofessional role located near Kansas City, KS. There are multiple positions available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving a variety of needs in K-12 settings, including Lifeskills, Autism (SAILS), Behavior (BSC), and High-Incidence classrooms. Bring your passion for education and help create a positive, inclusive environment for students of all abilities.

Applicants with prior experience in school settings will be given priority consideration. Interviews are conducted ahead of hiring, and the district will share campus placement and assignment details upon a successful offer. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss your preferred caseload during the interview process to ensure the best personal and professional fit.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Previous paraprofessional or school-based support experience is highly valued
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and related service providers
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
