Oracle Fusion Technical Solutions Architect (EPM) | North Atlanta | Onsite
A large public-sector organization is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Solutions Architect (EPM) for a long-term contract engagement. This role will support and enhance enterprise Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and will work closely with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP/EPM/HCM, strong solutions architecture experience, and the ability to lead technical initiatives in a complex enterprise environment.

Role Overview

This position is responsible for the technical configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The role includes evaluating quarterly Oracle releases, coordinating testing with business teams, supporting integrations, and providing architectural guidance across ERP, EPM, and HCM modules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, including custom fields, fast formulas, and performance optimization

  • Evaluate Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and patches, assess impacts, and coordinate testing and validation

  • Lead end-to-end testing for fixes and enhancements, including test plan and script development

  • Design, implement, and audit custom security roles and workflows

  • Monitor application performance, architecture, reliability, integrity, and recoverability

  • Coordinate with internal IT teams, Oracle, and third-party vendors on environment maintenance, refreshes, and outages

  • Design and implement best practices for administration, security, and system reliability

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Fusion applications and integrations

  • Develop functional and technical specifications for new integrations and custom applications

  • Document system requirements, configurations, and process flows

  • Mentor and train technical team members supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of overall ERP administration experience

  • 5+ years as a Solutions Architect supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, and/or HCM

  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion configurations, custom fields, fast formulas, and integrations

  • Experience leading full lifecycle projects (requirements, design, testing, rollout)

  • Solid understanding of the Oracle Fusion data dictionary and object relationships

  • Excellent verbal, written, and collaborative communication skills

  • Proven ability and desire to mentor and guide technical team members

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion security roles and workflow configurations

  • Strong business domain knowledge in Finance, HR, and/or Payroll

  • Demonstrated initiative to stay current with evolving technologies

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
