We are hiring for a Contracts Manager professional who will develop, analyze, evaluate, review contracts to ensure alignment with business and legal requirements for customer facing contracts. Contracts Manager will gather appropriate approvals per Delegation of Authority and ensure contractual obligations are flowed down to the business. Contracts Manager will help review and draft non-disclosure agreements as well as contracts for products and services. The Contracts Manager will participate in Integrated Project Management Plans across product lines to help support the business and mitigate risk as applicable. Contracts Manager will also work with Subject Matter experts to fully review and identify risks within the contract terms and conditions.
What You Will Do:
  • Drafting contracts and proposal letters, amendments, claims and assertions
  • Negotiating contract terms and conditions
  • Licenses for use of Collins Intellectual Property
  • Contract interpretation
  • Review of proposals created by other departments
  • Ensuring compliance with US Export Rules and Regulations
  • Resolving contract related issues with customers (both internal and external)
  • Collaboration with other contract managers within Collins Aerospace companies
  • Drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, new equipment sales, aftermarket services and support, repair services, and amendments to existing contracts
  • Administrative tasks such as Contract Executive Summaries
  • Providing recommendations and guidance to various parts of the organization up to and including executive leadership
  • Working closely with the Office of General Counsel to ensure compliance to legal requirements, meeting approval authority requirements, and minimize Collins exposure to unacceptable risk
  • Special projects as may come up from time to time such as due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures, creation of policies and procedures, providing assistance to other companies or divisions within Collins Aerospace, joint venture activities and joint venture support.
  • Perform excellent customer interfacing skills to build strong customer relationships while protecting Collins Aerospace interests
  • Primary liaison between internal business and customers
  • Estimated level of travel: 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
