Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Maintains, diagnoses and repairs a variety of equipment including; diesel/gasoline engines, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, rig vac and various other types of oil field related equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute required procedures for preventative maintenance.
  • Perform inspections required by company.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure our equipment is ready to rent.
  • Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts.
  • Basic testing of equipment for proper operation.
  • Operation of lifting devices.
  • Must complete proper paperwork as assigned.
  • May be required to assist other Maintenance employees.
  • Performs various other duties assigned by supervisor/manager within the physical constraints of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-5 years similar experience in service company or oilfield operating company. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Multi-tasking ability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to continuously stand & walk
  • Frequently push & pull
  • Occasionally bend & stoop
  • Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs
  • Working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, humidity, cold & wind.
