Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

• Work in an outpatient therapy clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy
• Shift options available: five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
• Day off will be consistent throughout the assignment as determined by the clinic
• 13-week schedule cycle
• See an average of 10-15 patients per day scheduled in 30-minute intervals with dovetailing
• Complex evaluations are 1 hour; simple evaluations and treatments are 30 minutes
• Treat patients with general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures
• No weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No holiday expectations
• No floating to other departments
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be accepted
• Georgia state physical therapy license required
• BLS certification required
• EMR system: EPIC
• Dress code: Teal and black polos will be provided; slacks and clean shoes preferred
• Free parking available on site

Facility:

This hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic specializes in occupational, physical, and speech therapy services. The clinic operates with a well-structured team consisting of five therapists, one lead therapist, one office coordinator, and two rehabilitation aides on site. The facility uses EPIC as its electronic medical records system and provides a structured orientation program including new employee orientation and five days of departmental training.
