 At Hi5 Orthodontics, we're passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles, and that starts with making every step of the treatment process clear, smooth, and stress-free for our patients. We're looking for a detail-oriented and friendly Patient Financial Coordinator to join our team and help patients navigate their financial journey with confidence and clarity.

**We have two locations in Spokane (north Spokane and the South Hill). This person will need to be willing to go to both locations.**


Position Overview:
As the Patient Financial Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing patient contracts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You'll work closely with both patients and team members to ensure accounts are clear, up to date, and handled with professionalism and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and review financial contracts with patients and/or guardians
  • Set up and maintain patient payment plans
  • Monitor patient accounts and follow up on past-due balances
  • Send billing statements and financial correspondence
  • Process payments and post to patient accounts
  • Work with insurance verification team to ensure accurate account balances
  • Answer patient billing questions with clarity and kindness
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and notes in the system
  • Coordinate with front desk and treatment coordinator to support a seamless patient experience

Requirements

 Qualifications:

  • Experience in dental or orthodontic billing/financial coordination preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with empathy and professionalism
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proficient in computer systems and practice management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
