Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Indiana Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • No new graduates. Minimum prior clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
  • Experience evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and payer requirements.
  • Experience with functional treatment programs and safe patient handling techniques.
  • Ability to supervise, delegate, and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services.
  • Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education as required.
  • Preferred: experience with outpatient documentation systems, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
