Shift: Nights (3x12s) Ratios: 1:5, chance for 1:6-7 Years of Experience REQ: 2 years MS experience required in a hospital setting, no travel experience if over 4 years; direct MS experience is required in the past year PCU experience will not be accepted Weekend REQ: Yes; 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks Certs REQ: BLS & ACLS required; NIH preferred. Is on-call REQ: No Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes Open to accommodating block schedule? No Locals Accepted: Yes Pending License Accepted: No RTO Restrictions: No Holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13 week assignment. **No additional RTO after the time of submittal or while working on contract.** Holiday RTO: No RTO approved the day before, the day of, or day after holiday. Guaranteed Hours: 36 GWW Special Requirements: Cardiac (need self-rating of 3 or above); basic dysrhythmia training preferred (self-rating 3 or above), All of our units may care for patients with mental health diagnoses Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Altered mental status, CHF, stroke, ortho, surgical patients, DKA, infections Facility Information Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Magnet / Teaching / Level Trauma (if applicable): Level 3 Trauma Center Total Staffed Beds: 171 Scrub Color: Varies by Unit Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Free Attendance Policy: OSUMC has a zero-fault attendance policy which means that missed scheduled shift regardless of the reason counts as unexcused. (2) missed shifts will result in a warning, and (3+) missed shifts may result in a cancellation. This applies to a rolling calendar year. Please ensure all candidates are aware of this policy prior to submission. Compliance call out: Travelers must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing! Modules: Modules are non-billable, 3-4 hours average Modules are required pre-start Modules are recorded via transcripts, and/or self reported with submission of completion certificates Please acknowledge the following with your candidate: Traveler agrees to the job's start date, and no changes will be accepted after submission. Traveler accepts the job description, pay package, and caseload ratio. Traveler understands no block or specific scheduling requests will be allowed.
