Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of evry 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

L3Harris has an immediate opportunity for a Contracts Lead with comprehensive knowledge of Department of War prime contracts and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail. The position requires subject matter expertise with comprehensive knowledge of Government contracts, regulations and ability to manage large, complex contracts of substantial importance to the division with minimal oversight or direction. This position will contribute to efforts to expand and grow strategic footprint within the organization and requires a demonstrated self-starter and problem solver, capable of high-level independent work administering prime contracts, and regularly contributing to business strategy formation and tactical implementations at all levels.

Essential Functions:

  • Conduct in-depth RFP analysis, identifying risks, and crafting compelling proposals in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
  • Align contracts with company policies, legal requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Manage the contract administration process for optimal support of internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the key liaison between L3Harris and customers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Work with cross functional teams to evaluate performance, costs, and delivery schedules to ensure contract accuracy and completeness
  • Demonstrate independent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Prioritize tasks with urgency and commitment integrity to meet multiple deadlines and customer commitments
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations to protect company interests
  • Maintain detailed records for all contracts managed
  • Clearly present information to various stakeholders, including management
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Ability to articulate contractual, financial, programmatic, and technical matters across any business medium
  • Experience effectively interfacing at all levels of company management.
  • Practical knowledge of project management and program finance
  • Familiarity with working alongside DCMA, DCAA, and other federal agencies
  • Experience managing intellectual property and data rights issues
  • Familiarity with Finance, Contract Management, and Proposal Software
