Job description


This position focuses on student achievement by working with teachers to ensure high-fidelity implementations of research-based reading program(s) and scientifically-based reading strategies/practices at all elementary levels.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, a valid Florida
teaching certificate, and be certified in 6-12 mathematics for high school and/or 5-9 mathematics
for middle school
2. A minimum of three years successful teaching experience
3. Demonstrated competency in knowledge of the Sunshine State Standards, scientifically-based
mathematics research, exemplary practices in mathematics instruction and data analysis
4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct activities for teachers
5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers,
administration, district staff, and the public
6. Experienced in facilitating adult training
