Job Title: Parking Services Customer Service Representative

Department: Operations

Reports To: Operations Manager / General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Work Schedule: This role is required to work during normal business hours with occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed.

Work Location: In-person at assigned Diamond Parking office location.

Position Overview:

The Parking Services Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing administrative and customer service support for parking services operations. The role includes handling incoming calls, account reconciliation, data entry, and general clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following, as additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned:

  • Customer Service: Answer incoming calls, respond to customer inquiries, receive complaints, and assist in reconciling customer accounts.
  • Administrative Support: Perform general office duties such as filing, organizing documents, and assisting with special projects.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter information into systems.
  • Mail Processing: Open and code incoming mail for distribution and documentation.
  • Other Duties: Provide support on assigned projects and tasks as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence. Able to write and communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but straightforward written or oral instructions. Capable of resolving routine issues with a limited number of variables.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
