Meet the Team 

The Contract Administrator is responsible for the post-execution contract administration lifecycle and contract management system (CMS) of the company.  The individual will work with Procurement, Legal, and the contract owners as well as the company's suppliers to ensure that all contractual obligations are met, modifications tracked and documents are accounted for within CMS. This role reports to the Director of Finance, with a dotted-line relationship to the Legal Department to ensure alignment on contract administration standards and escalation practices.

What You'll Do 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for Procurement and contract owners on contract status, tracking, and administration (e.g., deliverable due dates, renewal timing, document location).  
  • Route questions involving contract interpretation, legal risk, or non-standard terms to the Legal Department.  
  • Partner with the contract owners to track contract execution against key milestones. 
  • Monitor contract milestones to confirm completion and identify potential missed deliverables or performance gaps; flag any such gaps to the contract owner and Legal for review. 
  • Provide visibility and reporting into contracts coming up for renewal 
  • Validate that final, fully-executed contract(s), amendments, and close-out documents are accurately recorded in the Contract Management System (CMS) 
  • Provide database management and administrative support for the CMS 
  • Support audit requests of contracts 
  • Understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for administering contracts after execution 
  • Supports Procurement as needed and provides administrative support to the Legal Department as directed, including document preparation and status tracking. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

What You'll Need to Succeed 

  • Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through BS+ 0-3+ years of experience. 
  • Experience administering or tracking commercial contracts after execution (e.g., supplier, vendor, or similar agreements), including monitoring key dates, deliverables, and renewal timelines  
  • Experience using a contract management system (CMS) or similar database/document tool to maintain accurate, audit-ready records 
  • Ability to read and analyze financial reports and technical documents 
  • Understanding of purchasing and supply chain procedures 
  • Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on detail 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build trust and strong relationships, effectively create reports and relate data, and communicate to a diverse workforce. 
  • Strong business insight and judgment, team orientation and collaborative style 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to plan, develop, coordinate resources, prioritize effectively, and maintain programs and initiatives simultaneously and in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to thrive in a face-paced environment with quickly changing business needs 
  • Ability to ethically handle sensitive and confidential information with impartiality and professionalism.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Torc's total compensation package will also include our corporate bonus and stock option plan. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
