Job description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background. This individual would serve as a key interface between engineering, manufacturing, and our subcontract manufacturing partners to improve production readiness, efficiency, and product quality.

Key responsibilities would include:

• Performing technology transfer activities to subcontractor manufacturers for new and existing products.

• Coordinating with subcontract manufacturers to ensure design changes are properly communicated and implemented.

• Improving and maintaining manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and production processes.

• Identifying and implementing manufacturing process improvements to reduce cost, improve quality, and increase throughput.

• Providing feedback to the design engineering team on design-for-manufacturability (DFM) opportunities and product improvements that reduce manufacturing and test time.

• Documenting, maintaining, and improving production test fixtures and equipment.

• Supporting the setup and optimization of production cells and manufacturing workflows.

• Assisting with troubleshooting production issues and driving corrective actions when needed.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 3-6+ years of experience of manufacturing engineering experience (Electrical/Electronics background preferred)

Preferred:

  • Electrical Engineering degree with manufacturing experience.
  • Experience supporting electronics manufacturing, PCB assemblies, test fixtures, production testing, or contract manufacturers.
  • Coursework or experience related to DFM (Design for Manufacturability), Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement.
