Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Fire Protection Project Manager/Estimator to lead and execute fire protection system projects from conception through completion. This role combines technical expertise with strong project management skills to ensure accurate cost estimation, efficient project execution, and adherence to safety standards.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality fire protection solutions that safeguard lives and property. As a key member of the team, you will drive project success by managing budgets, reviewing construction drawings, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate project estimates by reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents to determine material and labor requirements.

  • Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost estimates and maintain pricing accuracy.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and purchasing agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

  • Review fire protection system drawings and specifications, identifying potential design or constructability issues early in the project lifecycle.

  • Manage project schedules, resources, and overall execution to ensure timely project completion.

  • Monitor project budgets and implement cost-control strategies while maintaining quality and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with field personnel to ensure installations comply with applicable codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.

  • Prepare proposals, bid packages, scopes of work, and supporting project documentation.
