Job description

Job Summary:

Tutulu LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Senior Contract Specialist L3 position. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and talented group of individuals committed to driving success.

As a Senior Contract Specialist Level 3, you will assist the Contracts Officer in planning and managing acquisitions across various products and services. Ideal candidates should excel in drafting and editing contracts, possess excellent attention to detail, and have a strong grasp of procurement regulations and legal terminology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing end-to-end contract support from market research to contract administration.
  • This involves preparing solicitation documentation, reviewing proposals, conducting cost/price evaluations, advising on negotiation positions, processing invoices, and assisting in developing acquisition strategies.
  • Additionally, you will oversee contract performance and handle modifications in collaboration with the Contracting Officer.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility
• 10+ years relevant DoD work with practical hands-on experience in contracts and subcontract
• At least 4 years’ experience in a SAP and or SCI environment and worked in this environment within the last five years
• May be required to consent to and successfully complete a Government Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph
• In-depth knowledge of AFFAR, FAR and DFAR requirements and experience working with DCAA and DCMA
• A deep and successful background collaborating with prime contractors and subcontractors including developing and negotiating contracts
• Manage contract process on assigned contracts from end-to-end with internal business owners and stakeholders and external partners
• Ensure contract terms and conditions are negotiated in the best interest of Insight to mitigate business risk, minimize workload requirements, and maximize financial objectives
• Conduct initial and on-going evaluations and pricing of government contract proposals
• Facilitate efficient interdepartmental communications; coordinate and lead meetings to promptly resolve outstanding contractual issues, inquiries, and actions
• Generate, review, and support exact contract documentation within the company policies
• Exercise good judgment in providing contract interpretations, contractual advice, and guidance to internal business team to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Ensure prompt review of contract modifications and communication of changes and notices to the business team
• Ensure that all required approvals are obtained prior to submittal of contracts for execution
• Proficient in aligning logistical strategies with mission objectives, demonstrating exceptional writing, editing, analytical prowess, and adept team facilitation
• Seamless interaction with diverse stakeholders, including senior Department of Defense officials and defense contractors, while effectively addressing multifaceted challenges and recommending strategic alternatives
