This contract position offers an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in the field of maternal and fetal health through direct patient care and collaboration with our dedicated medical staff.

As a Locum MD, you will play a crucial role in managing the health of expectant mothers and their babies, implementing care plans, and providing consultation on high-risk pregnancies. Your expertise will contribute to the comprehensive care our facility is known for, ensuring the well-being of patients and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized medical care to high-risk pregnancies
  • Conduct consultations and evaluations for expectant mothers
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Monitor patient progress through regular assessments
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, neonatologists, and nursing staff
  • Participate in patient and family education programs
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in maternal-fetal medicine
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree with a specialization in Maternal Fetal Medicine
  • Relevant medical board certification
  • Prior experience in maternal-fetal medicine (Associate level)
  • Strong clinical skills and patient care abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to continuous education and professional development
  • Previous experience working in a contract role is preferred

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8a-5p) or 24-hour call, specific dates

Must be able to read fetal echos

No deliveries

Support Staff: RNs, NP, sonographers, dietician

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
