Job Title: Mainframe Consultant (Caterpillar Experience Preferred)

Location: Peoria, IL (Relocation Required)
Duration: Long-Term Contract

  • 7+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe development and support.
  • Previous experience working on Caterpillar projects or environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IMS.
  • Experience with batch processing, production support, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of Endevor, Changeman, File-AID, Abend-AID, and other mainframe utilities.
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and application support.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Peoria, IL.
