Senior Data Analyst

Type: W2 With Benefits - No C2C

Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Washington, DC

Top 5 Technical Skills:

  1. Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  2. 0 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business analysis, operations analysis, or a related role.
  3. SQL
  4. Reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker (Looker is a modern, cloud-based business intelligence (BI) and data analytics platform) or similar tools is a plus.
  5. Ability to work with large data sets.
  6. Experience with AWS

Job Description:

The Analyst supports business teams by collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting on data, as well as documenting business requirements. This role helps identify business needs, analyze data sources, prepare governance materials, and translate findings into clear insights for development teams and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, comfortable working with business requirements and databases, and interested in learning new business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.
  • Develop business requirements for product teams by working with business stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support ad hoc analysis requests from product teams.
  • Maintain data quality by checking for missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate information.
  • Document data definitions, report logic, assumptions, and analysis steps.
  • Translate findings into clear summaries for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business questions, data needs, and process requirements.
  • Support process improvement by identifying data gaps or manual work that can be automated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
