The Training Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, and facilitating all necessary training for the Kuehne + Nagel workforce supporting logistics operations for customers.

How you create impact

Supervision of all training activities
Provide ongoing training for the KN and temporary workforce (hourly and salary exempt)
Planning and conduct of all Orientation Trainings, Code of Conduct, Basic Skills Trainings, Safety Trainings, Forklift Trainings and Process Trainings for warehouse employees
Work closely with onsite leadership, local HR, the Staffing Agencies and local QSHE
Conduct of audits at the end of the training process
Supervision of the hand over - take over (HOTO) from training to Operations (supervisor)
Responsible for set up and filling the training matrix for the site
Supervision of cross training in the facility
Reporting of training status and training needs to direct manager
Documentation of the training activities in coordination with local QSHE department
Set up of local training areas
Technical guidance and supervision of the local training team (process trainers, forklift trainers)
Continuous development of the local training system and training conception in close cooperation with the QSHE Manager
Set up a sustainable training structure for the site
May assist with creating SOP and regular SOP audits

What we would like you to bring
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Train the Trainer Certification preferred
  • 1 year prior training experience in a distribution or warehouse environment
  • Excellent presentations skills and communication competences
  • Appropriate interpersonal, social and methodical skills are required
