Minimum Requirements: NYS Certified Special Education Teacher

Position Summary/Responsibilities: 
The Greece Central School District is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Special Education Inclusive Teacher committed to ensuring that all students have equitable access to high-quality instruction within inclusive learning environments. The successful candidate will work in partnership with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support students with disabilities in accessing grade-level curriculum while fostering academic, social, and emotional growth.
Aligned with the district's mission to build a culture of high standards, engagement, and supportive relationships through equitable access to resources, opportunities, and partnerships, the inclusive teacher will provide specially designed instruction, implement individualized supports, and promote meaningful participation for students with disabilities in general education settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specially designed instruction and differentiated supports to students with disabilities within inclusive classroom settings. 
Collaborate with general education teachers to plan and implement instruction that meets diverse learning needs while maintaining high academic expectations. 
Implement and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to ensure students can access grade-level standards and curriculum. 
Use data-driven instructional practices to monitor student progress and adjust supports accordingly. 
Promote inclusive practices that support belonging, engagement, and positive relationships among all students. 
Partner with families, school staff, and service providers to ensure coordinated support for student success. 
Foster students' social-emotional development, independence, and self-advocacy skills. 
Participate actively in professional learning communities and ongoing professional development aligned with district initiatives. 
Support the district's commitment to equity, access, and excellence for all learners.
