Job Title: Automation Technician โ€“ Injection Molding
Location: Libertyville, IL

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to support and maintain automation systems in an injection molding manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial robots, PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, and troubleshooting automated production equipment.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in injection molding automation
  • Hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting robots (Sepro, Fanuc, Yushin, Wittmann, or similar)
  • Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo motors, VFDs, industrial sensors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Experience with EOAT (End-of-Arm Tooling) maintenance
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Robotics, or Industrial Automation is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair automation systems, robots, conveyors, sensors, and vision systems
  • Program and optimize robots to improve cycle time and product quality
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment
