Job Title: Process Controls Automation Engineer/Admin
Location: Foster City, CA
Duration: Long-term Contract

Summary:
Seeking a professional with 7+ years of experience in automation and administration of process control systems, specifically Rockwell FactoryTalk and Ignition SCADA. Responsible for system deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ensuring reliability in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support FactoryTalk & Ignition systems
  • Perform system updates, maintenance, audits, and user access reviews
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Coordinate with IT for server maintenance, OS patching, and validation
  • Ensure compliance with GMP and FDA (21 CFR Part 11)

Requirements:

  • Experience with PLCs, SCADA, and historian systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and system configuration skills
  • GMP environment experience with FDA regulations
  • Bachelorโ€™s in Engineering/IT or related field
  • Ignition SCADA experience (mandatory)

Preferred:

  • Certifications in Rockwell/Ignition
  • Knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking, and Python
