Construction Project Manager

Location: Ozark, MO.
Employment Type: Full-Time position.
Compensation: $72,000 โ€“ $120,000 annually (competitive salary based on experience).
Classification: Exempt.
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from planning through completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, quality standards, safety compliance, and client communication to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
Job Summary:
The Construction Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, execution, monitoring, and closeout. This person will work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, field teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, milestones, and work plans.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Obtain and track permits, licenses, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents for constructability and completeness.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, change orders, RFIs, and other project documentation.
  • Coordinate site visits and meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Ensure all work is performed according to safety policies, building codes, and company standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction project management or a related construction leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, permits, and safety regulations.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP, CCM, LEED, or other construction/project management certification.
  • Experience with commercial, residential, industrial, or civil construction projects.
