To thrive in contract glazing, you need expertise in reading blueprints, installing glass and aluminum systems, and a solid understanding of construction safety protocols, often supported by vocational training or apprenticeship experience. Familiarity with glazing tools, lifts, scaffolding, and safety certifications—such as OSHA 10 or OSHA 30—are typically required. Mastering these abilities is crucial for maintaining site safety, delivering precise installations, and contributing to the overall success of construction projects.
