P&C Claims Operations Lead/Manager (Property & Casualty Insurance)

New York City, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite per Week)

Long Term Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Claims Operations professional with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance to manage end-to-end claims processes and oversee operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end claims lifecycle, including FNOL, adjudication, settlement, and closure.
  • Oversee and coordinate with claims vendors and offshore teams, ensuring service quality, SLA adherence, and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all claims-related processes and escalations.
  • Monitor claims performance metrics and drive process improvements and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (underwriting, finance, compliance) to streamline operations.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to distributed teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) claims operations.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end claims processes.
  • Experience managing vendors and offshore delivery teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple claims workflows and escalations effectively.
