Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) – Vaccination Clinic (On-Site)

Pay: $55.75/hour (W2)
Location: Alamo, CA
Schedule: 40 hrs/week | Must be flexible | Coverage can include Mon–Sun, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Type: W2 Contract (Temporary)
Setting: In-store / patient-facing

Position Overview

We’re hiring an Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) to support a high-volume vaccination initiative in a community healthcare setting. In this role, you’ll administer a variety of vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, MMR, etc.) while delivering a calm, compassionate patient experience. PPE is provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other immunizations as needed
  • Provide patient education, answer questions, and deliver excellent bedside manner in a retail/community environment
  • Work collaboratively with onsite staff to maintain a positive, team-oriented culture
  • Adapt quickly to changing workflow needs and patient volume
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in California
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience (immunization experience strongly preferred/expected)
  • BLS (Basic Life Saving) certification
  • Must be flexible with work hours (schedule can vary and may include weekends)
  • Must be eligible to work and not listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
  • Verified High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior immunizing experience in a community/retail setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset (empathy, professionalism, teamwork)
