Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220 patients per day
  • Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients at a Level 2 Trauma Center
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
  • Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health record system
  • Float to other units as needed, in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
  • Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training through the designated learning portal
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications may be considered)
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
  • 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting
