LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing organization in the SF Bay Area to identify a
Full-Stack Product Engineer for a
contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to help build a next-generation platform that enables enterprises to optimize how human and digital workforces collaborate.
Position Overview This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for a product-focused engineer who thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end-from concept through deployment-and collaborating closely with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
You will play a key role in delivering high-impact product features across a modern full-stack architecture, contributing directly to a platform used by enterprise leaders to make strategic workforce decisions.
Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy product features across a React (Vite/shadcn) frontend and Python (FastAPI/Postgres) backend
- Own the full development lifecycle from early-stage concepts (e.g., Figma mockups and problem statements) through production deployment and executive demos
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and leadership to define and execute on product direction
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily workflow
- Make pragmatic engineering decisions, balancing speed-to-delivery with scalability and stability
- Contribute to evolving architecture and platform capabilities, including future expansion into LLM-based systems
Qualifications - Approximately 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience , ideally within a startup or product-driven environment
- Proven experience owning and delivering end-to-end product features
- Strong proficiency in either:
- React / TypeScript , or
- Python (backend development)
- with willingness to work across the full stack
- Demonstrated experience using AI coding tools in a development workflow
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with a bias toward execution and delivery
- Must be located within commuting distance of the SF Bay Area and available to work onsite 3 days per week
Preferred Experience - Familiarity with modern tools and frameworks such as: shadcn, Radix UI, Tailwind CSS, FastAPI, Alembic, Postgres, TanStack Query, Clerk, Supabase, Vercel, Railway
Compensation & Benefits - Target base salary range: $155,000 - $250,000 , depending on experience
