Azure Solution Architect

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead the design, scalability, security, and cloud engineering strategy for enterprise-grade AI-driven optimization platforms deployed on Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate will architect scalable, secure, high-performance cloud-native solutions that support advanced scheduling, optimization, analytics, and AI-driven decision-making capabilities across enterprise environments.

Required Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure Solution Architecture experience

Key ResponsibilitiesAzure Cloud Architecture

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure
• Develop scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native solutions
• Establish architecture standards aligned with Azure best practices
• Drive microservices and event-driven architecture adoption
• Implement API-first architecture principles
• Ensure platform scalability, reusability, maintainability, and performance optimization

Data & Integration

• Design enterprise-grade data integration frameworks
• Architect scalable integrations with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory or equivalent technologies
• Integrate enterprise applications, APIs, and external data providers

AI / ML & Optimization Platforms

• Architect scalable scheduling and optimization platforms
• Design AI/ML systems including:
  • RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
  • Vector databases
  • Azure OpenAI ecosystem
  • Azure AI services
• Establish MLOps frameworks and model lifecycle pipelines
• Support optimization engines and scheduling algorithms using tools such as Google OR-Tools

Security & Governance

• Implement enterprise-grade cloud security and governance frameworks
• Configure Azure Entra ID, SSO, RBAC, and multi-tenant isolation strategies
• Manage secrets and security policies using Azure Key Vault
• Ensure compliance with enterprise cybersecurity standards and governance policies

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams
• Lead architecture reviews, technical workshops, and solution discussions
• Present architecture roadmaps and technical strategies to leadership teams
• Drive alignment between business requirements and technical execution
