We’re partnering with a well-established organization undergoing a technology modernization initiative and are seeking a Python Production Engineer to help take an existing application from prototype to production.
This is a 6–12-week contract focused on production readiness—not on rebuilding the application.

This is a 6–12-week contract focused on production readiness—not on rebuilding the application.
What You’ll Do
- Productionize an existing Python web app (Flask/FastAPI)
- Build CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
- Implement security, authentication, and secrets management
- Set up monitoring and logging (Azure Monitor / App Insights)
- Introduce testing (pytest) and improve reliability
- Collaborate with the internal IT team for knowledge transfer
- Experience taking Python apps to production
- Strong Azure + DevOps experience
- CI/CD pipeline development
- Solid understanding of application security + testing
- 6–12 week contract (possible extension)
- Remote (U.S.) | Hybrid preferred
- Competitive hourly rate based in Skillset
