Our Company
On Duty Health is a mobile health and fitness assessment company specializing in Occupational Medicine. We provide on-location health and fitness assessments for firefighters, law enforcement, and corporate wellness events. We send a team of 3 healthcare professionals, a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, an Ultrasound technician, and Exercise Physiologist to a job site in order to conduct the assessments and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. We are searching for an Exercise Physiologist to join the team.
Exercise Physiologist Job SummaryThe Exercise physiologist will evaluate patients vitals, conducting pulmonary function testing, flexibility, body composition, muscular strength/endurance, conduct resting and stress EKG testing, educate patients on findings, and ultimately work with the team to provide health and fitness recommendations for individual patient improvement.
Qualifications
Education:B.S required from accredited university in; Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise physiology, or related.
M.S Preferred
CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) Required
Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) Preferred

Job-related travel is required, One of our main benefits to our clients is we provide the convevience of being on site to complete the health assessments. Candidates can expect to be in multiple fire/police stations, city administration, and corporate buildings throughout the state of Texas, and occasionally California.
