About the Job: As an Event Consultant, you are key to building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events that align with company standards and client expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact from the initial inquiry through the day of the event, helping clients navigate rental options, logistics, and event details while collaborating closely with sales, operations, inventory, and leadership teams. Your work directly contributes to exceptional customer experiences, operational accuracy, and profitable business growth.


What You'll Do

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients by answering inquiries, processing order requests, and assisting with general event rental needs. 
  • Build strong relationships with clients and strategic accounts through responsive, solution-focused communication. 
  • Evaluate client needs and recommend rental products and design solutions that align with event goals and budgets. 
  • Develop and manage rental contracts through phone, email, virtual, and in-person consultations. 
  • Accurately enter client information, rental items, event logistics, and scheduling details into the rental management system. 
  • Coordinate final event details, including payment processing, delivery, and pickup scheduling, site logistics, diagrams, portage requirements, and third-party subrentals. 
  • Collaborate with Event Consultants, Event Directors, Business Development Managers, operations teams, and leadership to ensure seamless event execution. 
  • Troubleshoot event challenges proactively and develop effective solutions to maintain client satisfaction and operational success. 
  • Promote showroom visits, warehouse tours, and design appointments to support business development efforts. 
  • Interact with clients to gather feedback on service quality and continuously improve the customer experience. 
  • Support general office operations, including accepting deliveries, maintaining showroom presentation, scheduling appointments, and assisting walk-in clients. 
  • Periodically attend professional industry and community events to strengthen relationships and support company visibility. 

What You Bring
Required

  • Strong customer service, active listening, verbal communication, and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and event needs. 
  • Comfortable using business software systems, including Microsoft Outlook and rental management systems. 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and event coordination.

  • Availability to work Saturdays and overtime as needed.
