Job description

ALH Building Systems is seeking a Wood Truss Designer to create accurate and compliant truss designs for our manufacturing operations.

Compensation:

$22 - $29 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to design wood truss systems per project specifications and codes.
  • Use CAD software to draft and layout wood truss designs.
  • Interpret architectural and structural plans to determine design requirements.
  • Ensure all designs meet industry standards, building codes, and regulations.
  • Address design issues and modifications with project managers and construction teams.
  • Review designs for accuracy, revisions, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical support to production teams.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of wood construction techniques and building codes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
