Job Summary
This position is responsible for nominating and monitoring natural gas products under close supervision in order to manage company volumes and minimize financial overspends related to those transactions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Schedule daily natural gas nominations across multiple pipelines and storage facilities
  • Track and communicate cuts or under deliveries to traders
  • Monitors pipeline postings for information that could impact day to day scheduling activities
  • Proactively look for optimization opportunities and communicate with the team
  • Collaborate and train with teammates to ensure backup coverage for pipes
  • Accurately path and maintain all scheduling activities in accounting system
  • Manages pipeline imbalance and cash out volumes
  • Reviews monthly transportation invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance of contracts
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of pipeline nomination processes, electronic bulletin boards, pipeline tariffs, gas contracts, commodity markets and pricing
  • Ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced and business critical trading environment
  • Strong attention to detail and able to meet strict guidelines
  • Intermediate analytical and communication skills, and proactive problem solving abilities
  • Rotational weekend and night/holiday work required
  • Experience with OpenLink Endur/Gmotion system a plus

Education
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university
Preferred: Bachelor's degree - from accredited university - Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience
Minimum: 5 - 8 years related work experience
