We are looking for a Digital Copywriter to support a manufacturing organization in Minneapolis, Minnesota through compelling, audience-focused content across digital channels. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a strong writer who can shift seamlessly between concise promotional messaging and more detailed long-form content while maintaining a consistent brand voice. The role will collaborate closely with design and user experience partners to create content that is clear, engaging, and effective across web, email, and social platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Develop original copy for social media channels, tailoring messaging to suit multiple platforms and audience segments.
• Refresh existing website content and write new pages that strengthen clarity, usability, and brand consistency.
• Create and refine messaging for nurture campaigns that support audience engagement throughout the customer journey.
• Produce both short-form and long-form written materials, including promotional, editorial, and digital marketing content.
• Coordinate assignments and deadlines within a project management system to keep deliverables organized and on schedule.
• Apply AP style standards and strong editorial judgment to ensure accurate and consistent content.
• Write and adapt content across eight different social platforms while aligning tone and format to channel-specific needs.
• Partner with UX/UI professionals to ensure copy and visual design work together to deliver an effective user experience.• Demonstrated experience in copywriting for digital marketing, web, email, and social media channels.
• Strong command of grammar, tone, and message development, with the ability to write for varied audiences and formats.
• Hands-on experience with ad copywriting, promotional writing, and copy editing.
• Familiarity with AP style and the ability to maintain editorial consistency across projects.
• Experience using project management tools to track work, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI and marketing stakeholders.
• Proven skill in developing both concise campaign copy and longer-form website or editorial content.
