Job description

Role Overview

Are you a self-motivated Electrical Engineer driven to build high-precision, life-saving technology? In this job, you will analyze, design, test, and integrate advanced electrical components for cutting-edge proton radiation equipment. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to ensure system reliability and directly support critical equipment operations.
Key Qualifications Needed:

  • PCB & Hardware Design: Hands-on experience with PCB design, schematic capture, and analog/digital circuit design from concept through manufacturing.
  • Troubleshooting & Fault Isolation: Proven ability to isolate faults and troubleshoot complex electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical systems, and power conversion circuits.
  • Engineering Tools & Tech: Experience with high-end EDA tools, MATLAB/MathCad, and Linux environments.
  • Power & RF Concepts: Experience with high-power switch-mode power supplies, rectifiers, or RF technology is highly preferred.
  • Education & Experience: BSEE degree required with 2+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design & Integration: Execute full-lifecycle electrical design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and system integration.
  • System Diagnostics & Support: Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and fault isolation on complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems; update technical procedures to maximize system uptime.
  • Documentation & Communication: Translate project requirements into technical specs, statements of work, and clear project documentation across engineering teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with mechanical, software, field service, and production engineers to implement continuous design improvements.
