What We’re Looking For:

Santé is seeking Contract Therapists to join our team in Silver Spring, MD. The Therapist provides a variety of psychotherapies to assigned clients based on their privileging. They Document and bill for appropriate services in compliance with company policies and procedures, and coordinate treatment with internal and external treatment team members. This is a contractor position who is paid a percentage of billable hours. We will pay them 45% of their billable hour. We are looking for an onsite therapist in either the Silver Spring or the Lanham office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provides evidenced based treatment in various individual, group, and/or family therapy treatment modalities based on their privileging
  • Provide quality intakes/ diagnostic assessments and possess a demonstrated understanding of diagnostic evaluation methods, mental status exams, and use of the current DSM
  • Provide crisis intervention services when required
  • Provides services in conformance with the Recovery Model
  • Responsible for the timely development/submission of the Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) in the EMR and Treatment Reviews per policy and procedure
  • Maintain communication with Primary Care Provider through duration of treatment through the PCMH and the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Provides referrals to community agencies as needed and maintain communication for treatment planning purposes
  • Complies with clinical productivity standards as established by Program Director and the Clinical Director
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other community agencies on behalf of consumer and/or the agency
  • Demonstrated understanding of sound ethical practice in conjunction with the established and defined ethics of one’s training and discipline
  • Ability to effectively organize time and responsibilities
  • Provide coordination of any outside agency referrals for community involvement
  • Develops and maintains working relationships with community resources which may be utilized to maintain, support and enhance the functioning of consumers
  • Responsible for case discharges/closures when appropriate or related to clients non-compliance with treatment
  • Responsible for procuring required insurance authorizations prior to the commencement of service
  • Responsible for ensuring that all case documentation is complete and timely in the EMR and in compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for ensuring that service billing is submitted in a timely/complete manner through the EMR
  • Meets or exceeds service outcomes including but not limited to: productivity standards, hospitalization rates, client satisfaction and no show/cancellation rates as set by the Director
  • Performs individual peer review as directed by the Director
  • Participate in and complete all required trainings
  • Other duties as assigned
