General Overview:
We have an immediate opening for a part-time driver to assist with client transportation throughout Montgomery County, MD and limited transportation to Fairfax County, VA and Washington, DC. Our drivers are responsible for providing escorted transportation for clients to doctors' appointments, recreational activities, and therapy appointments. As even the most active adult's age, maintaining mobility and independence can be challenging. JSSA's many senior services provide assistance to allow seniors to remain independent longer. For more than 20 years, JSSA has been providing frail seniors and those with disabilities, safe and reliable door-through-door transportation to necessary appointments. Salary starting at $17.25 per hour.
Responsibilities:
  • The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with seniors
  • Must possess exemplary and proactive customer service skills
  • Candidate must be comfortable and willing to assist clients who require the use of a wheelchair and wheelchair-accessible vans.
  • This position is ideal for someone who is looking for a flexible position and does not require a set amount of hours per week.

Position Qualifications:
  • Qualified candidates will be knowledgeable about the metro area and able to navigate heavy traffic areas.
