What you'll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate contract terms and agreements under tight timelines to drive business growth while protecting TELUS' interests.
- Provide strategic guidance on contractual matters and influence strategic decisions through expert risk analysis.
- Partner with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Pricing, Product, Finance, and Legal teams to shape the future of our contracts and service offerings.
- Champion contract management best practices across the organization.
- Optimize contract terms and templates based on evolving business landscapes.
- Maintain and manage key contract information to ensure compliance.
- Drive collaboration and partnerships with internal teams.
- Design and deliver training on contract compliance and best practices.
What you bring
- Law degree (LLB or JD) from an accredited university
- Bilingual proficiency (French/English) with contract drafting capabilities in both languages
- 2+ years of experience in commercial contract drafting, management, and negotiation, in particular with service agreements and SaaS agreements
- Expertise in contract and commercial law, notably with technology contracts
- Proficiency with contract management tools
- Strong business acumen with ability to balance risk and commercial objectives
- Enthusiasm for process improvement with a track record of implementing efficiencies
- Exceptional communication skills

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.
