Job description

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology in the Medical Group at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has an excellent opportunity at an established academic practice for physicians! We are seeking a BC/BE physician to add to our Southeast Michigan-based faculty practice location. You will be an employed physician, with knowledgeable practice management professionals assisting in day-to-day operations and will be able to take advantage of the resources and referral base of the larger Corewell Health system!
This position will deliver and perform surgeries at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and does require significant interaction with the OB/GYN residency program. This Obstetrics & Gynecology practice is aligned with the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine.
Ideal candidates will possess:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for program building as well as exceptional communication skills to help expand the referral base and strengthen community ties.
  • 2 - 5 Years of practice experience or significant success in residency training program with verbal recommendation from program director or core faculty of their program.
  • Strong affinity and desire for education with some demonstration of success in this area either with additional training or awards/recognition.
  • Proficiency in laparoscopic/robotic/vaginal surgery
  • Confidence in operative vaginal delivery
  • History of strong work ethic with good interpersonal communication and team building skills.
  • Interest in specialty programs
  • The ability to adapt to the rigors of a fast-paced workflow and changing environment
