Job description

Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite from Day 1)
Job Type: Contract

Looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineering
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Terraform - Extensive skills with terraform, developing out our terraform platform.
  • Work with Ansible - deeper experience, not just pushing code; candidate must have created, deployed, and developed Ansible across the entire stack.
  • Basic OS support and maintenance - Somebody that can jump into the OS a little bit and do support/maintenance -not going to be the major part of this role - as they primarily deal with RHEL.
  • SUSE and AIX
  • Python - Candidate should be able to jump in and do some coding themselves to integrate components.
  • Candidate must have very extensive skills with Terraform, Ansible, and either OpenShift or VM, and be able to tie it all together - integrate components and make the system work end-to-end
  • Configuration management — configuration management is going to be about components, need somebody that can jump in and work with it not just follow runbooks
