Description Contract Details Contract Duration: 6 Months Location: Springfield, MA (onsite) Pay: $40 per hour to $45 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Recruiter for a 6-month contract assignment to join our talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and engaging top engineering talent to meet project and organizational needs, focusing on university recruiting in the initial months of employment.The ideal candidate will possess experience in engineering and university recruiting, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to talent acquisition. The role will be accountable for full-cycle recruiting strategies that ensure a great candidate experience, implementing innovative sourcing strategies, and building talent pipelines for junior- to senior-level roles across multiple disciplines. The role helps Dennis Group find exceptional talent in the engineering, architectural, and construction management sectors.Dennis Group is a Design-Build engineering firm that designs and builds food and beverage processing facilities. The recruiter will recruit candidates who will take a project from the estimating / bidding phase, selecting sub-contractors and materials/equipment, through the design and construction phases, and through the end of the project.Responsibilities Execute end-to-end recruitment from job opening approval through candidate acceptance. Proactively seek, plan, manage, and oversee all college fairs, info sessions, class presentations, and other engagement opportunities to build relationships with colleges and universities (faculty members, employer specialists, clubs, etc.) for internship, co-op, and entry-level job openings. Conduct initial phone screens of candidates to assess applicants' abilities and provide recommendations to hiring managers. Perform all aspects of technical recruiting, ranging from identifying needs, sourcing talent, networking, and interviewing to ensuring candidates have a great first impression of Dennis Group. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and maintain hiring targets, advise on total compensation packages, and determine the best recruiting efforts to focus on. Attend discipline strategy meetings for recruitment activities. Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers with qualified applicants and gather interview feedback from interviewers. Apply company policies and procedures, including federal and state laws regarding employment practices. Required Education, Skills, and Experience Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience. 2+ years of university recruiting experience and owning full-cycle recruiting for interns and new graduates. 4+ years of corporate recruiting experience, including sourcing and full-life-cycle recruiting. Two of those years with an engineering firm preferred. At least one year working at a search firm / agency is preferred. Experience with UKG recruiting and onboarding modules a plus.
